I love avocados. I could eat them all day long. The more time you spend here on my website, I suspect you’ll learn that about me because I have a ton of different ways to eat my beloved avocados. Today’s recipe is Avocado Spinach Dip.
Yes, this is a little on the spicy side but if you can handle it then you are going to love this dip. It goes great with veggies and chips and it’s super easy to make.
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup diced avocado
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon seeded jalapeno pepper
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- A dash of hot sauce
Add your spinach, avocado, red onion, and jalapeno pepper into the blender. Next throw in your sour cream, lime juice, garlic, salt, paper, and your hot sauce.
Now blend until smooth. Transfer your dip to a serving bowl, cover and let chill for about an hour.
